OFFICE IN BEIJING: A Brief Introduction

Aims of the Service

After joining the WTO, China has gradually expanded the scope of foreign investment. In order to suit this new situation, China International Investment Promotion Agency (hereinafter as CIIPA) will launch a brand-new “OFFICE IN BEIJING” service, aiming to enhance the cooperation with international commerce and industry organizations, investment promotion agencies, enterprises and investors and accelerate the FDI in China.

There are senior experts and consultants in the field of investment and trade, who have built rapport with relevant departments and institutions of the State Council through frequent communication, working for CIIPA. On this basis, the “OFFICE IN BEIJING” service provides full-time / part-time secretary who are proficient in foreign languages and state-of-art office equipment according to the requirements of clients, carrying out various service functions.

Thus, the clients do not need establish a real “representative office” in Beijing, but they still can enjoy the same convenience. More important, without involving in complicated procedures and large investment, the clients can enjoy this top-quality and highly effective service with low cost --- and this is the aim of CIIPA.

What we do

1. Consulting services for investment, trading in different areas and various industries within China.

2. Hotel booking, schedule arranging and airport picking-up service for people and delegations coming to Beijing.

3. Cooperating or acting as an agent to communicate with and make report to relevant Chinese ministries and offices.

4. Assisting in the establishment of business offices in Beijing as well as handling related procedure of registering and enrolling.

5. Organizing business meetings, investment promotion campaigns and other relevant activities.

6. Providing services regarding market research, feasibility study, administrative approval affairs and other appointed tasks of investment and trade projects.

Ways of Service

Long-term Entrustment: This method suits for clients who need frequent services. They can reach agreement with CIIPA by a lump-sum payment (please find the service fee rate in the attachment). Under this agreement, the services provided are limited to the first three categories with a term of one year. But if requested, the agreement can be renewed. Both parties can negotiate on any other requirements if needed.

Case-based Entrustment: This method suits for clients who need more detailed services that are mainly covered by but not limited to category 4-6. The fees involved shall be determined according to the content, scope and difficulty of the commissioned project through mutual negotiation.

To Provide Full-time Secretary, Private Telephone and Fax: This service suits for clients who are with the long-term entrustment method and large transaction amount. The full-time secretary can provide 24-hour private service while the private telephone and fax will help to keep communication smooth and enhance an efficient service.

To Provide Part-time Secretary, Public Phone and Fax: This service suits for clients who are with the long-term entrustment and not with very busy business. In order to save the cost of service, the part-time secretary may work for 2 or 3 clients and the office equipments are also shared. However, the part-time secretary will provide the same high –quality service as full-time one and the public office equipments are of the same standard as with the private ones.

Note: The service fee of category 4-6 shall be determined according to actual needs and by mutual negotiation.
